- 3+ year of design
& architect experience in N-tier development for web based
solutions.
- Very good understanding of JEE
& open source technologies & frameworks e.g. JSP, Servlets, EJB, Struts
(or any other MVC based web framework), Spring, Hibernate, AJAX, XML, JDBC etc.
- Designed and built something
web based in one of the scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Groovy, or PHP).
- Understand UML and have a
command of expressing use case, sequence and class diagram.
- Thinking process with strong
analytical abilities to understand requirements and map it to system
designs.
- Excellent communication and
collaboration skills. Ability to lead, train and mentor team members.
- Good exposure in designing
data model, domain mapping, SQL queries etc. and optimization through caching
& other techniques.
- Good experience with one or more application servers: JBoss, Glassfish, Tomcat, Ngnix etc.
- Experience with ANT, Cruise Control, WebTest, and Unit Testing frameworks.
- Experience working on Agile teams and methodologies. Ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
