‘Nirbhaya-Be Fearless’: Ensuring employee safety

 

SmartCloud Infotech’s customized mobile app for securing company’s strongest assets –Employees

Pune-based SmartCloud Infotech Private Limited announced the launch of its mobile app “Nirbhaya-Be Fearless”, platform for employee safety. The mobile app, available on all the platforms currently in the mobile market i.e android, iOS and Wndows Mobile, provides customized safety solutions for employees as per Organization’s need. The application is an extended version of ‘Nirbhaya’ which the company launched early in 2013 for individuals.

“Nirbhaya-Be Fearless” is a customized emergency alert system for employers who hold safety of their strongest assets - Employees at priority. The app sends distress/SOS messages with employees’ location updates to its employer in addition to the pre-defined SMS groups, Facebook wall and Secured web portals. The new app introduces unique features such as ‘Employee Shield’ and ‘Push Notifications’. While the former feature alerts female employees (utilizing company’s cab services) and company of any diversion being taken by the driver from the pre-defined route, the latter keeps the employees informed about various alerts, instructions, etc.

“After the overwhelming response of ‘Nirbhaya’, we received a number of requests from corporates who wanted to ensure safety of its employees and integrate the application with its security system. We did our internal survey and developed this extended version addressing to the pain points of a corporate trying to keeps its extended family members - employees, safe at any cost. The free app requests employees to share few of their personal details like residential address, emergency contact numbers and blood group. To make this app most effective, it is advised to add contact numbers of local police stations, hospitals and emergency help lines.
