Position: Business Development Manager – India

Position Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for exploring new business opportunities as well as growing the client accounts to sell IT Services and Solutions focusing on ERP’s (SAP and Oracle) in India.


Solution IT & BPO Pvt. Ltd. is a subsidiary of Solution IT Inc. which is a provider of IT Services and Solutions, having its corporate office in Boston MA, USA. The company focuses on selling ERP solutions and services, and has plans to ramp up aggressively in India targeting APAC and EMEA markets. This is a dynamic company with great synergies and gives employees an open environment of independence, challenge, exciting growth prospects and topnotch compensation plans.


Identify potential customer accounts for selling IT services with emphasis on SAP and Oracle ERP’s in Manufacturing, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Telecom, Retail and Real Estate industry verticals.
Explore potential opportunities for Staffing as well as Projects business in a set of target accounts.
Will be the owner of the sales process from prospecting, pre-sales, proposals, presentations, bidding, negotiations, deal closure, coordination with delivery teams, managing client expectations and collection.
Extensive travel all over India will be required for this position.
This position provides the opportunity for selling in EMEA/ APAC markets in future.

Required Skills:

4-6 years experience in selling IT services in India.
Previous experience in selling Oracle and/or SAP services in India will be preferred.
Must be comfortable dealing with all levels including “C” level executives at clients.
Must have direct sales and account management experience.
Should be a go getter with infinite energy level hitting multiple calls and meetings every day.
Exceptional written, presentation and communication skills

Desired Profile:

Engineering Degree.
MBA from a premier school.
Strong networking abilities with ability to sniff new opportunities
High achiever, ambitious, dynamic, result oriented.


Attractive compensation package consisting of base salary and variable component with annual targeted total earnings ranging from 10-15 Lakhs depending on experience.
